Why we do this
There's a road in the fifteenth chapter of Luke that every one of us has walked at least a little way — the road to the far country. Our whole ministry is about the road back.
What we believe
We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ — grace, not works; the cross, not the résumé; a Father who runs down the road before the apology is even out. We hold to the shared core of the historic Christian faith and stay out of the fights that divide the family. The Book has held for two thousand years. We just tell it plain.
How we tell it
We read from the King James Bible — the version your grandmother underlined — and then we say it again in the language of the kitchen table. No seminary walls, no ten-dollar words. If a truth can't be said plain, we haven't understood it yet.
Who it's for
These stories are for the man in the truck at four in the morning, the mother praying for a child who stopped calling, the one who thinks they've gone too far to turn around. You haven't. That's the whole message. The door is open, and so is the grace.
The voice of the ministry
Pastor Cole knew the fast world. The money, the noise, the whole run of it. And he came home to the country not because he failed out there, but because he found something worth coming home for.
Warm, grounded, a little wry. He quotes the old Book plain, and then says it plainer. You'll know his voice the second you hear it.
